about this recording:
Let yourself be swept away by the playing of Ursula Haeggblom and Andreas Weimer when you listen not only to the margravine’s Sonata in A minor, but to the compositions of her brother and of Bach, as well as to works composed especially for this program. On the basis of musical material that is attributed to the margravine, the composers – and former fellows of the International Artists’ House Villa Concordia – Johannes Quint (Bonn), Oliver Schneller (Berlin), and Axel Singer (Munich) have crafted their own creations.
